A pixie and a Christmas fairy

Now I understand why everyone loves needle felting!! I gave it a go for the first time yesterday and I just love the results (obviously I need to work on my ability to do faces though…) And the process is very therapeutic too.

Here is my first attempt – a pixie 🙂

I think he is adorable and Master D can’t stop playing with him! He is sitting in front of one of my unfinished ‘pixie’ door creations because Master D said this is where he lives.

And for my second attempt I made a Christmas fairy following this tutorial.

I think she will look lovely on our Christmas tree. Before she takes her place there I might add some embellishments though.

So now I have another craft ‘addiction’ 🙂

Warm wishes, Kelly

You did a wonderful job, Kelly! Your faces look better than mine, so you don’t need too much practice. I’m glad you tried it. Hope you are having a great weekend!! Warmly, Carrie

This is exactly why I’m afraid to try needle felting… I love everything made by it so much, and I don’t need another craft addiction! You did a beautiful job!Blessings, Debbie

They look so good 🙂 I have made felt balls but I’ve never tried needle felting… Not that I need another hobby, but I might have to give it a go!

So cute! I’ve made some felted beads but that’s about it. I’d love to try some little people, though. Thanks for the inspiration! I like the pixie door, too.
