My brothers and I spent ages looking through the The Australian Women’s Weekly ~ Children’s Birthday Cake Book leading up to our birthdays
*smile*
One year I am pretty sure I had a gorgeous teddy bear birthday cake…
And I think Husband of Mine did too!
So when it came time to choose Little Miss Q’s cake we decided the bear was just right!
{Dino Boy asked us to make a dino cake for her… but his birthday will be here before we know it!}
The baking of the birthday cake turned into a family affair…{and not entirely smooth sailing!}
Husband of Mine prepared the cake batter before realising we didn’t have the right baking trays…
So into the fridge overnight went the batter… until Nana-ma rescued us the next day with trays *smile*
So while Husband was at work I re-aerated the batter and popped it in the oven
{crossing my fingers and toes it would still rise!}
Luckily it did!
Husband and Dino Boy decorated the cake beautifully *smile*
And guess what…. I think she liked it ❤
