Art on the walls

Slowly but surely… our home is starting to feel more and more like our own
For many years many of our walls have been bare…
…just waiting for the right piece of artwork to adorn them

And although Dino Boy’s walls had many of his painting and pictures displayed
it still wasn’t quite right {and perhaps, yes Husband of Mine ~ it was a bit busy}
So using some good quality art supplies
the boy got to painting…
Lots of monsters he tells me *smile*

Even a grumpy one… and a sad one
as well as two happy ones…
And now his Monster notes are displayed on his walls *smile*

Happy painting,

Kelly

Painting on a canvas looks so nice and much more special than on paper. I must try this soon. Thanks Kelly

Lovely piece! I found that it really instills pride in them to paint on a canvas and they create a lasting memory.

Love kids art on home walls, I’ve dedicated a whole wall at home and change the pictures every now and then. Displaying your child’s artwork gives them a great sense if achievement.

I love kids art on the walls. And not just blue tacked up, but mounted. It shows your kids that you appreciate what they can do, what they can create. That they are artists.

I think it’s so important to display children’s artwork and this is a great example of how it can be done to really showcase their great work. Oh I love the look of children’s art pieces. It makes a home. *smile* 😉

Those monsters are so cool. I love having my son’s art up on the walls like this. We just did a canvas painted with trains (http://play-trains.com/painting-with-trains/) and it looks so cool in the room.

They look great. Our walls are bare at the moment and I miss having the kids’ artwork around the place.

I was just saying to hubby the other day what since we moved around a lot we don’t have anything to hang on our walls, they are alway bear. I am really looking forward to having our own house someday soon so we can adorn the walls with the kids’ art too 🙂
