Sometimes you catch them in a magical world.
A world of their own making, a world weaved with pretty imaginings.
One day I happened upon Ruby playing just like that.
I sat with a cup of tea and my camera, and just watched. Until I was almost like the furniture around her.
Then I was able to quietly capture glimpses, windows, of her sweet play.
She spun a little story as she played.
A story of two little foxes who really just wanted to play.
They went up. They went down. They smelt the sweet flowers and jumped all about.
Sweet, simple happy play.

this is so precious!!! nothing quite so magical as a child deep in imaginitive play. so lovely that you took the time to simply stop and observe. and my those wooden animals are super charming!!!
