As you say they deeply anchor our day. We have a large handmade table for them with flowers. I ask the boys to wake the gnomies & they ring their bell, then we actually say each day of the week because the eldest really wanted to know. We talk about the day ahead..Next we do a seasonal verse, a seasonal song & then inevitably I sing them into the car. This has made us slow down so much. Love it! X
