Making horses

My favourite handmade item is generally the last one I’ve made…
 ♡
And this holds true for my rainbow felt horse *smile*
I am so happily surprised at how well he turned out!
{I used the pattern from Creative Play for your toddler}
I’m actually itching to make another!
But then I look at the calendar and realise that over the next seven weeks…
{yes seven weeks!}
…I have a few items on my crafting list!
So I settled on knitting another up
{I still find knitting them up quicker at the moment!}
Mmmm… but that gorgeous rainbow felt is calling to me *smile*

Happy Family Times ~ playing in the sandpit

We are enjoying lovely Spring sunshine

And with the cubby house almost built ~ creating a lovely shady spot underneath…
…the kids have been enjoying some good old fashioned sandpit fun!

With trucks, tractors and cars *smile*

And a dinosaur, or two, or more…
…just for good measure!

And while they happily play…
I sit with my chai tea… gazing out at them from my seat under
the clothes line *hee hee*
{yes, you read right, clothes line!}
Who said clothes lines always have to look drab!
Aren’t my rainbow flags beautiful *smile*
