Rose sugar scrub

It isn’t often that I make something just for me
… but this Rose Sugar Scrub was easy to make and is delicious to use *smile*
{and was inspired by Gifts from the Garden}
From my garden I picked
~ rose petals
~ lavender
~ lemon verbena leaves
And left them to dry…

Once dry, I gently mixed them together with…
~ 100 g demerara sugar
~ 200 g caster sugar
~ 100 ml sweet almond oil
~ a few drops of lavender oil
~ a few drops of raspberry oil
Before placing the mixture in clean jars

I love using this sugar scrub… all the more so because I made it myself
And the scent is delicious!
Happy days,
Kelly

Making butterflies

Sometime ago… at the start of Spring I think…
we made some soft and pretty butterflies at playgroup {and then at home too} using beautiful wool roving
We arranged the roving before wrapping pipe cleaners around and twisting.
Dino Boy even made a butterfly that was just emerging from it’s chrysalis.
I’m not sure why I’ve taken so long to share this craft…
Actually, it might just be that this was one of those craftswhere I found myself taking over… just a bit too much.
Does that ever happen to you?

Happy crafting,
Kelly
