Christmas bells

The other evening I was watching Kirstie and Phil’s Perfect Christmas
{I have a real fondness for Kirstie and Phil *smile*}
And Kirstie was making fun and simple Christmas bells with some kids…
So for a playdate and crafternoon I knew just what we could make!
We used
~ egg carton segments
~ acrylic paint
~ glitter
{lots and lots of glitter!}
~ ribbon and bells

The kids had a lovely time painting their creations…
…with looks of concentration on their little faces *smile*
Before pouring on the glitter!!
After the bells dried they enjoyed making a hole at the top using a chop stick
We then threaded the bells on the ribbon…
and slipped the ribbon through *smile*

A happy addition to our Christmas tree!

Waldorf pocket dolls

One of the things I adore about blogland…
{and I may have mentioned this before}
…is the way we inspire each other… sharing our love of creating
And inspiration certainly struck me sometime ago when visiting Anna Branford
Anna’s creations make me almost breathless
 I adore them {yes, gushing}

And she also writes lovely children’s stories which I have enjoyed immensely

So when I saw her Pocket Dolls I knew I would have to try my hand at them…
And I’m not alone, Hinterland Mama has made some too *smile*

I used some beautifully soft and coloured felt from Winterwood Toys
And love how they turned out…

I think more pocket dolls are on the horizon

Happy crafting,
Kelly
