A backyard scavenger hunt

 

Dino Boy had a big idea recently…
He wanted to go on a….Scavenger Hunt!! 
{I’m not even sure where he got the idea} 
We took a colour approach first up…
…which was perfect for the end of Spring

 

 

It was lovely watching him flitting around the backyard…
exclaiming about different colours and what treasure he had found!
  

 

Even Wookie got in on the action…
excited by the searching and seeking behind things, under things and all around

 

 

And what lovely things they were!
Happily added to our nature table… or Dino Boy’s treasure collection *smile*

Building a cubby house


We’ve nearly finished building our cubby house…

Or should I say, Husband of Mine has nearly finished the building… *smile*

And it has a delicious secret entrance {a wonderful idea of Husband of Mine!}

Through the garden… starting near our toadstool nook
To the start of our lovely stairs *smile*

Up, up they go… past my birthday tree {or through the forest says Max}

And into the cubby house

A fun space to be… {even before the stairs!}

Even Wookie dog wishes he could play here *chuckle*


A lovely leafy hideout

A place for hours of play ♡
