A Spiral Jacket and our Winter garden

 Finishing a project can be wonderful can’t it!
{well if it has turned out as hoped…}
And I have to admit that I am rather thrilled with Little Miss Q’s spiral jacket!!  
{just don’t look too closely and maybe you can ignore some mistakes!}
I had planned to find a large button, maybe like for a duffel coat, to fasten the jacket…

Then I remembered a pretty butterfly brooch and gave it a go *smile*
And ohhh when I did, I just felt it completed the jacket
{and luckily it has a safety device at the back and is sturdy}
The jacket is so warm and snuggly… perfect for our Winter days…

The pattern is called ‘Spiral Jacket’ and is from Lincraft.
I haven’t had any luck finding it online…
And I’m waiting for an email from Lincraft so I can share more details with you {hopefully}

 The baby spiral jacket pattern has sold out online…
however they have just released an adult version

Happy Family Times ~ Climbing Trees

 Dino Boy has discovered the joy of tree climbing!

 While I was washing some clothes… {a chore that never ends}

he called out that I should come see the koala in the tree *hee hee*

He was super excited and proud *smile* 

My brothers and I lived in trees when we were growing up {well nearly!}
We were lucky enough to live in front of a pine forest and oh, the fun we had in that forest!!

The trees in our little backyard are not great climbing trees however…
and Dino Boy was soon asking to find trees that he could climb higher

Luckily we were heading out for a playdate and were able to look for climbing trees on the way

And just close to our friend’s home there were some great climbing trees!!

Dino Boy’s friend Little Miss M joined in the fun *smile*

Next time Little Miss Q will have to have a turn!

 
 I’m so glad that Dino Boy found this fun on his own ~ what a wonderful discovery for him to have made!
