Working while they play

In the lead up to Christmas, I have been busily crafting
Making fairy doors, gnomes and felt animals *smile*

And as I sit and craft… nearby the children play
They seem to go deeper into their play if I am close by working

Every now and again they check in with me…
…do a little sanding or show me their creations *wink*
…before returning to their games

I sit and breathe… happily watching them… while my hands are busy
And I realise ~ I am content ♡

Happy days, Kelly

Getting ready for school

We are excitedly starting to get ready for Max to start preschool next year.

But I can’t help but wonder ~ where did the time go? How can my little boy be old enough!

Luckily I know he is going to love school.

He is such a friendly, sociable lad… eager to muck in with the other kids

To try new things and chat *contented sigh*

And looking around his lovely classroom and meeting his teacher. It just feels right

He will continue to be nurtured. But be able to spread his wings just that little bit.

Knowing how his day will unfold has helped…

The day starts with outside play
Before circle time inside
Next will be eurythmy or drawing {on his days anyway}
A wholesome morning tea
Story time
Recharging with lunch & a rest
And finishing up with outside play and afternoon tea

The class will also go on walks… and celebrate the seasons with festivals *smile*

Inside me I can feel the excitement building for his first day…
…just like I used to feel about returning to school after the holidays *smile*

But where, oh where have the years gone!

Warmly, Kelly
