Blackboard wars

Dino Boy has started to make up his own games…
Games where he is generally the winner 
{mind you he is mostly playing against himself!}
The other day he watched me wash the blackboard clean
A few days later he decided to do it himself…
Then he realised the chalk looked more vibrant on the wet blackboard
And even better… he could make the chalk run and disappear by spraying it!
Suddenly faces appeared on the blackboard…
Only to be sprayed away in the next moment *smile*
Then the Wookie dog appeared…
BAM! Then he was gone!
What fun little games have your kids invented?

Spring nature table

Dino Boy loves the ritual of helping to set up our nature table…
collecting little bits and pieces from here and there
 And even taking lovely photos of it
{like the one above *smile}
We are enjoying gorgeous Spring days…warm balmy days even…
Before delicious storms descend *smile*
We brought a little bit of Spring inside with us…
pretty white blossom to live on our nature table
Together with some little chicks and their mama
And a rainbow door…
{I always think of rainbows for Spring ~ with it’s wonderfully changeable weather}

 

 

And a super sweet teeny tiny chick…
