Mood stones

 

Dino Boy is super interested in faces at the moment…
He loves telling me if someone has a grumpy face or happy face
And I’ve noticed that when he is drawing people he will give them a mood *smile*
So when Dino Boy saw me painting some lovely green rocks he wanted to join in…
 Soon we had silly faces, happy faces, grumpy faces…
I love his silly faces ~ they all have their tongues sticking out!
I’m not sure what we will do with them all…
…but we sure had fun making them!

 

And I’ll share my painted rocks another day *wink*

Happy lil ❤’s are baking ~ dinosaur birthday cake

For our last Happy lil ❤’s are baking {for awhile at least}
I thought I’d share the cake Husband of Mine and Dino Boy made recently *smile*
 

 

And what could be more appropriate for Dino Boy’s birthday cake!
He couldn’t wait to make Stella the Stegosaurus *smile*

 

 

He cut the butter ~ with a big knife no less!
{with supervision of course}

 

 

And cracked the eggs ~ all 6!
They decided to make a beautiful colourful rainbow cake…
doesn’t it look pretty!
Once Dino Boy was in bed Husband of Mine got to work decorating…

I think our birthday boy was very pleased!

And now, we can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to in the kitchen with your kids!
