Gardening with my toddler

 

It’s wonderful to observe our garden reawakening as we move into Spring
We’ve been spending lots of time in the garden….
weeding, pruning and planting
So when Little Miss Q and I visited a garden shop the other day
and she got very excited about the pretty pansies, we decided to get a few *smile*
When we got home, Little Miss chose where we would plant them
then helped me dig holes, before planting and watering
Then we enjoyed a well earned rest
*happy sigh*

Little Miss Q seems have come into her own…
Gaining confidence, chattering away and being a little bit cheeky when the mood takes her
And the way she immerses herself in play is something else
She is so wonderfully busy, in her own little world… exploring & creating
Working with whatever is available.. old pots and pans, tan bark, leaves
Baking little treats for me to try *smile*

 

 

Isn’t childhood wonderful!
Don’t you sometimes wish you could return to those days yourself?
