Since we’ve just had a lot of rain, Master D got out his little umbrella and was ‘parachuting’ off the dining table. Mmmm I know, what was his mother thinking?! But he was having a great time 🙂 After a couple of jumps I thought I’d better direct the play to something else 🙂
So I got two of his hankies and made him a little parachute man. First I made the head with a bit of filling and tying it off.
Then I tied up some arms and legs.
Before tying on the parachute.
To launch the parachute man however, Master D assured me that doing so from the top of the table was best! Sadly *ahem* I wasn’t able to get good photo evidence 😉
Warm wishes, Kelly

How fun!! I remember giving my nephew some parachuting men (that we bought) and he threw them out the second floor window to watch them fly. Or maybe I was on the second floor. We kept passing them back and forth. It was so much fun and he loved it!
That does sound like fun! It’s funny how simple little toys can be the best isn’t it! And thanks for reading my ‘7’ things – I actually felt the same when I read yours 🙂
I love that you made the paratrooper as well as the parachute!
This is such a cute idea! I used to love those little plastic parachute men you could get in the little 10 cent machines, but this is way better. Kudos for using fun stuff on hand!
cute cute and so simple! My little dudes would enjoy these from on top of the table too I think 🙂

Sounds like an excellent game 🙂 It’s things like that that kids remember – I have great memories of my parents letting me do similar types of things 🙂
That is a very creative Mom.
It’s funny what we end up doing if I follow his lead – glad you enjoyed reading about it 🙂
