There really is something wonderful
about getting out on a fresh and sunny Autumn day
Especially with lovely friends
to explore nature and art
*smile*
Butterflies were spotted…
as well as ~ wait for it!
A platypus!!
{sadly no photos to share}
But they really are wondrous creatures…
apparently people thought they were just a pretend creature when pictures of them were first shared
And what is a walk in a National Park area without sticks and stones!?
{well boulders at least *wink*}

A real life, wild platypus! That’s incredibly exciting. I’ve only ever seen one, but that was on a reserve and pointed out to me on a night-time walk – so doesn’t really count!We had to stop the car for an echidna last week though. ‘He’ was meandering across the road ahead of us. Isn’t Aussie wildlife something else?
What a lovely little spot…isn’t the sun streaming through the butterflies glorious!There really is something about outside on a crisp Autumn day!
Such a beautiful place! I had to convince my own daughter that the platypus was real when she first heard of one.. Definitely a funny creature.. :)Blessings, Debbie
That looks like such a magical adventure!
wow what gorgeous sculptures!! So interesting and so cool to see a platypus. We have some in a creek near us apparently but we’ve never seen one there.. only at the zoo! LOL
